Geoffrey Leigh
Geoffrey has extensive experience in designing and implementing business focused human resource solutions for many organisations, both large and small, operating across private and public sectors. As a manager and consultant, Geoffrey has developed systems and processes to support successful business planning, cultural change, human resource planning, communications, performance measurement and training and development.
Geoffrey has diagnosed, designed and delivered learning programmes over a range of subject areas including management development, marketing and sales, managing diversity, trainer training and financial management. For many years, he has applied leading edge learning and psychological theory (re-evaluation counselling, transactional analysis, Accelerated Learning and Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to "determine powerful solutions and secure significant improvements" for a wide range of clients. Working on behalf of central government departments and National Training Organisations, he has promoted and implemented work-based training solutions, occupational standards and National Vocational Qualifications. For three years, he co-ordinated the National Training Awards competition.
An experienced Investors in People Practitioner and Qualified Assessor, Geoffrey was involved in the initial design and subsequent strategic reviews of the Investors in People Standard. He has supported many organisations in achieving recognition against the Standard and, perhaps more importantly, in realising an impressive range of business benefits: increased market share, higher profits, improved staff morale and retention. He has co-ordinated continuous improvement initiatives on behalf of many blue chip organisations and several smaller companies.
Geoffrey's qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (IPM), a Certificate in Training & Development, a Diploma in Training Management. He has a Vocational Assessor Award, he is an Investor in People Assessor, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and possesses a number of qualifications in Accelerated Learning. He is also accredited to assess and offer advice on the European Foundation Quality Model (EFQM).
